ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Retail Leader to join us as we continue to grow and evolve this iconic Australian brand. An exciting opportunity is available for a Concession Store Manager to lead our vibrant team at Shoes & Sox Myer Carindale.

This role is 31.5 hours per week, working a Tuesday to Saturday roster.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As the Store Manager, you’ll lead from the front, motivating your team, overseeing daily store operations, and fostering a customer-first culture built on exceptional service.

You will:

  • Inspire, coach and develop a diverse team of footwear enthusiasts to achieve KPIs and sales targets, celebrating wins and recognising individual contributions

  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities to improve results

  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards to ensure the store always looks its best

  • Take a proactive approach to loss prevention, including stock shrinkage management

  • Create a positive, engaging environment for both customers and team members

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous retail or store leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring team members

  • Experience in children’s education or working with kids (highly regarded)

  • A warm, welcoming nature and a passion for delivering memorable customer experiences

  • A proven ability to drive KPIs, manage stock effectively and execute visual merchandising

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement

  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
