ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Retail Leader to join us as we continue to grow and evolve this iconic Australian brand. An exciting opportunity is available for a Concession Store Manager to lead our vibrant team at Shoes & Sox Myer Carindale.
This role is 31.5 hours per week, working a Tuesday to Saturday roster.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As the Store Manager, you’ll lead from the front, motivating your team, overseeing daily store operations, and fostering a customer-first culture built on exceptional service.
You will:
Inspire, coach and develop a diverse team of footwear enthusiasts to achieve KPIs and sales targets, celebrating wins and recognising individual contributions
Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities to improve results
Maintain high visual merchandising standards to ensure the store always looks its best
Take a proactive approach to loss prevention, including stock shrinkage management
Create a positive, engaging environment for both customers and team members
ABOUT YOU
Previous retail or store leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring team members
Experience in children’s education or working with kids (highly regarded)
A warm, welcoming nature and a passion for delivering memorable customer experiences
A proven ability to drive KPIs, manage stock effectively and execute visual merchandising
Strong time management and organisational skills
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
