We’re excited to be opening a brand-new Black Pepper store in Salamander Bay, and we’re looking for an inspiring Store Manager to bring our brand to life in this exciting new location.

ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven and people-focused Store Manager to lead our new Black Pepper store in Salamander Bay.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new store opening, where you’ll play a key role in building your team, establishing a strong store culture and creating a welcoming shopping destination for our local customers.

As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day store operations, drive sales and performance, deliver exceptional customer experiences and lead a passionate team. You’ll also oversee inventory, rostering, visual merchandising and store presentation to ensure the store reflects the Black Pepper brand at its very best.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Lead, coach and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture from the very beginning.
• Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the new store, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Create genuine connections with customers and establish a loyal local customer base.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment and organisation to maintain an efficient and well-presented store.
• Prepare and manage monthly rosters within the allocated hours budget.
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, styling and store presentation standards.
• Support local community engagement and help establish Black Pepper as a valued part of the Salamander Bay community.
• Lead by example and bring energy, enthusiasm and a passion for fashion to every day.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a natural leader who loves fashion, people and creating memorable customer experiences.

You’ll bring:

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm, welcoming store environment.
• Previous retail leadership or Store Management experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a focus on achieving sales and performance results.
• A keen eye for styling, visual merchandising and store presentation.
• The enthusiasm and initiative to help build something new and make the Salamander Bay store your own.
• A genuine interest in connecting with customers and the local community.
