ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Retail Assistants to join our new team at Elka Collective Malvern Central David Jones. As the face of our new concession, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, helping customers feel welcomed, inspired, and confident in their purchases while bringing the Elka Collective brand to life in-store.

This role is perfect for someone who loves fashion, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. Whether you're assisting with styling, maintaining visual merchandising standards, or keeping the floor running smoothly, your positive attitude and attention to detail will make every customer interaction count.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selections and offer styling advice
• Maintain store appearance, ensuring it’s clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Handle transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
• Stock and replenish merchandise, ensuring product availability
• Support store operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising

ABOUT YOU

• Passion for providing style advice to make a difference in our customers lives and make their day!  
• Experience in a customer facing sales/retail role in a team environment
• Able to commit to a shift pattern & some flexibility to assist in peak trade periods
• You can adapt your selling style to meet the needs of the customer in front of you
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
