We're excited to be opening a new Shoes & Sox store at Myer Mt Gravatt, and we're looking for enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistants to join our team!

At Shoes & Sox, we're all about helping kids put their best foot forward – literally! As a Casual Retail Assistant, you'll be the friendly face welcoming customers, helping little ones find their perfect fit and making every shopping experience special.

From a child's very first pair of shoes to their next adventure, you'll help families find the right fit while being part of an exciting new store opening. If you love people, enjoy working in a team and bring a positive, can-do attitude, we'd love to hear from you!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Delivering friendly, personalised customer service to children and their families.
• Helping customers find the right shoe size, fit and style for their little ones.
• Creating a fun and welcoming shopping experience for every customer.
• Keeping the store tidy, well-stocked and looking its best.
• Supporting stock replenishment, deliveries and general store operations.
• Working collaboratively with the team to achieve store targets and deliver great results.
• Being available to work weekends, public holidays and busy trading periods as required.

ABOUT YOU

• A friendly, people-focused individual who enjoys helping others.
• Someone who loves working with children and families.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Reliable, adaptable and ready to contribute to a supportive team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Available to work a flexible casual roster, including weekends and peak trading periods.

Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous, but not essential. We're happy to support the right person with training!
