Our Bondi boutique is set in one of Sydney’s most iconic and energetic locations, surrounded by fashion, creativity, lifestyle and the effortless spirit that makes Bondi unique. We’re looking for someone who naturally connects with people, loves great style and enjoys being part of a boutique environment where no two customers are the same.

At Elka, we want shopping to feel personal. Customers might come in looking for something for a weekend away, a new wardrobe staple, an outfit for an event, or simply something that makes them feel good. Your role is to understand what they’re looking for, offer your perspective and help them leave feeling confident in what they’ve chosen.

What It’s Like to Work With Us

You’ll be part of a small, passionate team where personality matters.

You’ll spend your day talking fashion, putting outfits together, meeting new people, getting to know returning customers and keeping the boutique looking beautiful. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your styling skills, learn the Elka Collective aesthetic and become someone customers know they can rely on for honest, considered advice.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the social side of retail — someone who is comfortable starting a conversation, reading the room and knowing when to offer advice and when to simply let a customer browse.

Your Day Could Look Like...

• Welcoming customers into the boutique and creating an inviting atmosphere
• Helping someone find an outfit that feels completely like them
• Styling different Elka pieces together and introducing customers to new ways to wear them
• Building relationships with regular Bondi customers and getting to know their style
• Keeping the boutique beautifully presented throughout the day
• Refreshing the shop floor and merchandising new arrivals
• Unpacking and organising new stock
• Working towards daily and weekly sales goals with the team
• Sharing your knowledge of the collection, fabrics, fits and styling
• Creating the kind of customer experience that makes people want to come back

The Person We're Looking For

We’re not necessarily looking for someone who has the longest retail résumé.

We’re looking for personality, confidence and a genuine love of fashion.

You might be someone who is naturally drawn to styling friends before a night out, loves discovering new labels, notices what people are wearing or simply enjoys making someone feel good about themselves.

You’ll fit in well if you are:

• Warm, approachable and naturally good with people
• Confident having conversations with different types of customers
• Interested in fashion and personal styling
• Positive and energetic without being pushy
• Comfortable working in a boutique environment
• Reliable, organised and willing to get involved
• Motivated by achieving great results
• Someone who takes pride in presentation and the little details
• Happy working as part of a small team
• Available for weekend and peak trading shifts
