As Product Developer, Adults Private Label, you’ll play a key role in bringing seasonal footwear collections to life, from initial concept through to bulk production. Working closely with the Product Manager and key suppliers, you’ll balance creativity with commerciality, ensuring product is on-brand, trend relevant, technically sound and delivered on time, to quality and margin targets. This is a hands-on role where design thinking, technical expertise and strong stakeholder collaboration come together to create footwear ranges that excite customers and perform in market.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Designing and developing adult footwear ranges aligned to brand DNA, target customer and seasonal direction
  • Translating creative concepts into detailed CAD designs and technical specification packs
  • Managing the full product lifecycle from concept through to bulk production
  • Partnering with suppliers to commercialise designs while maintaining design intent
  • Communicating fit, wear-test and styling feedback clearly and constructively
  • Creating trend boards, colour palettes and seasonal inspiration presentations
  • Designing product to meet agreed target FOBs and margin requirements
  • Managing critical path timelines and ensuring key milestones are achieved
  • Tracking approvals, revisions and sample changes efficiently
  • Conducting competitor, market and post-season analysis to inform future ranges
  • Supporting factory and sourcing strategies and maintaining strong supplier relationships

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven technical footwear development and design experience
  • Experience in adults footwear is advantageous
  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills (essential) with strong capability across Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to create accurate, detailed technical drawings and specifications
  • Solid understanding of offshore manufacturing processes
  • A creative and curious mindset with a passion for innovation and design
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A collaborative approach with strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Clear, confident and professional communication style
