ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
As Head of Champion, you'll lead one of the world's most iconic sportswear brands through its next chapter of growth in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll own the commercial success of the brand across wholesale, retail and digital, bringing together product, planning, marketing, sales and operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and commercial outcomes.

You'll build strong partnerships, inspire high performing teams and identify new opportunities to grow the business while protecting the authenticity and heritage that have made Champion an icon for more than a century.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You'll be responsible for leading the Champion business end to end, including:
- Developing and executing the commercial strategy to drive sustainable sales and profit growth.
- Leading performance across wholesale, retail and ecommerce channels.
- Partnering with internal Centres of Excellence across marketing, digital, planning, sales and design to deliver exceptional customer and commercial outcomes.
- Overseeing seasonal product ranges, inventory planning and the product critical path.
- Building strong relationships with licensors and ensuring brand integrity is maintained across every customer touchpoint.
- Leading financial planning, budgeting and forecasting while monitoring key performance metrics.
- Identifying new opportunities for growth, partnerships and market expansion.
- Developing, coaching and inspiring a high performing team while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.
ABOUT YOU
You'll bring a combination of commercial capability, leadership and a genuine passion for brands.
You'll likely have:
- Significant experience leading a retail, wholesale or consumer brand.
- A strong track record of delivering sales, margin and profitability growth.
- Experience managing cross functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to make data led decisions.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Experience within fashion, apparel, footwear or lifestyle brands will be highly regarded.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences while building strong brand equity.
