As the brand continues to evolve and strengthen its market position, the Planning function plays a critical role in driving profitable growth.

 

ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As Merchandise Planner – Review, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic merchandise plans that optimise inventory, drive sales and maximise profitability across the brand.

Reporting to the Head of Planning and partnering closely with Design, Marketing and Retail teams, you will translate data and trade performance into clear, commercially focused actions — ensuring the right product is in the right place, at the right time.

This is a hands-on, commercially accountable role with direct leadership of an Allocator and strong cross-functional influence.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing and managing sales and inventory forecasts aligned to budget, margin and growth targets
  • Owning WSSI and key planning tools, monitoring performance and proposing data-led adjustments
  • Managing stock levels to optimise availability while minimising markdown risk and aged inventory
  • Analysing weekly, monthly and seasonal trade performance to identify risks and opportunities
  • Partnering with Design and Product teams to build balanced assortments aligned to brand strategy
  • Supporting seasonal buy planning with insights on sales trends, category performance and size splits
  • Collaborating with Marketing on promotional and markdown strategies aligned to the trade calendar
  • Leading allocation and replenishment strategies in partnership with the Allocator to drive sell-through
  • Presenting clear, actionable insights to stakeholders to support informed decision-making

 

ABOUT YOU

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Merchandise Planner role within fashion apparel
  • Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of sales, margin and stock drivers
  • Advanced Excel capability with confidence working across multiple data sources
  • Experience using planning and ERP systems (AP21 advantageous)
  • Confident summarising insights and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
