ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re on the lookout for a Store Manager with energy to burn, leadership chops, and a big love for little feet. You’ll take the reins at Shoes & Sox Waurn Ponds, leading the team in a store that’s all about comfort, confidence, and fun.

Please note this is a Full Time Tuesday - Saturday roster with the last week working a Tuesday - Friday roster (weekends off!)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Lead and inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members, celebrating success and building confidence.
• Drive store performance by keeping a close eye on sales, KPIs and commercial opportunities.
• Create an amazing customer experience that keeps families coming back to Shoes & Sox.
• Own the look and feel of the store, ensuring it’s clean, engaging and always on-brand.
• Take charge of stock management, minimising shrinkage and keeping inventory accurate and organised.
• Lead by example and foster a safe, inclusive and positive environment where everyone can thrive.

• A proven retail leader who knows how to coach, develop and bring out the best in a team.
• Passionate about customers, especially kids and families, with a genuine desire to make every visit a great one.
• Commercially driven and confident using KPIs and sales insights to achieve and exceed targets.
• Calm, organised and solutions-focused, with the ability to keep things moving when the pace picks up.
• Always looking to grow, embracing feedback, new ideas and opportunities to do things better.
• A confident communicator and natural relationship-builder who creates trust with customers, team members and leaders.
