ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for a passionate and personable Casual Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Elka Collective Albert Park.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with customers and helping them discover pieces they’ll love. You’ll be an important part of creating the welcoming, stylish and inspiring experience our customers know and expect from Elka Collective.

From providing personalised styling advice and sharing your love of fashion, to keeping the store looking beautiful and supporting the team throughout the day, no two days will be the same.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Create memorable customer experiences by providing warm, personalised and genuinely engaging service.
• Get to know our customers and help them find pieces that suit their style, personality and needs.
• Bring your passion for fashion and styling to life by confidently sharing product knowledge and recommendations.
• Keep the store looking beautiful, inspiring and on-brand, with strong attention to presentation and visual merchandising.
• Process sales and transactions with accuracy, efficiency and a positive attitude.
• Keep the store well stocked and organised by replenishing product and maintaining a seamless shopping environment.
• Be an active part of the team, supporting day-to-day store operations, stock management and visual merchandising.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and energetic team culture where everyone enjoys coming to work.

ABOUT YOU

• You’re passionate about fashion, styling and people, and love helping customers feel confident in what they wear.
• You have a genuine customer-first mindset and enjoy creating positive, personalised experiences that keep customers coming back.
• You have previous experience in retail, sales or another customer-facing role, and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
• You’re flexible and reliable, with the ability to commit to an agreed roster and support the team during busy trading periods.
• You’re confident adapting your communication and selling approach to different customers, personalities and needs.
• You’re warm, approachable and engaging, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You bring energy, enthusiasm and initiative to the store and aren’t afraid to get involved wherever needed.
