ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for a stylish, personable and customer-focused Casual Retail Assistant to join our Elka Collective Brighton team.

This is an opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for fashion, an eye for style and a natural ability to connect with people. You’ll be part of a considered and collaborative retail environment where every detail matters, from personalised styling and product knowledge to the way our collections are presented in-store.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Deliver an exceptional and highly personalised customer experience, creating meaningful connections and leaving a lasting impression
• Guide customers through product selections with confidence, offering thoughtful styling advice tailored to their individual needs and preferences
• Uphold an elevated store environment, maintaining impeccable standards of presentation, organisation, and visual appeal
• Process transactions with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and polished experience from start to finish
• Maintain strong product availability through proactive stock replenishment and thoughtful merchandising
• Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, supporting inventory management, visual merchandising, and broader retail initiatives

ABOUT YOU

• Passionate about styling and creating meaningful customer experiences that inspire confidence and make every interaction memorable
• Previous experience in a customer-facing sales or retail environment, with a genuine appreciation for teamwork and collaboration
• Reliable and adaptable, with the flexibility to commit to a consistent shift pattern and support the team during key trading periods
• Naturally intuitive and customer-focused, with the ability to adapt your approach and selling style to suit each individual
• An exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine rapport with customers and colleagues alike
