ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As a Casual Retail Assistant at our Black Pepper Woden store, you’ll help customers find styles that fit their lifestyle, flatter their shape and make them feel fantastic. You’ll deliver personalised service, keep the store looking its best and support your team with stock management and daily operations.

Woden is a bustling shopping hub with a great mix of local regulars and shoppers on the go. We’re looking for someone who can bring a welcoming presence to the shop floor, turn a quick visit into a great experience and make every customer feel like they’ve found exactly what they were looking for.

If you enjoy fashion, thrive in a busy retail environment and want a casual role where no two shifts need to feel the same, this could be the perfect fit.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Create a welcoming shopping experience with friendly, attentive and personalised customer service.
• Help customers find their next wardrobe favourite with styling advice, product knowledge and a great eye for fit.
• Connect with customers, understand what they’re looking for and tailor your approach to suit their individual style.
• Keep the store looking fresh, organised and inviting throughout the day.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Replenish merchandise and maintain stock availability on the shop floor.
• Support inventory management, visual merchandising and the smooth running of daily store operations.
• Work collaboratively with your teammates to achieve sales targets and store goals while keeping the energy positive.

ABOUT YOU

• You love fashion and enjoy helping women feel confident, comfortable and fabulous in what they wear.
• You have experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role and enjoy contributing to a team.
• You know how to make customers feel welcome, whether they need a little styling inspiration or know exactly what they want.
• You’re adaptable, approachable and confident communicating with a wide range of people.
• You’re reliable and can commit to an agreed shift pattern, with some flexibility to support peak trading periods.
• You enjoy a busy shop floor, can balance different priorities and bring a positive, can-do attitude to every shift.
• You take pride in creating great customer experiences and understand the difference a personal touch can make.
