ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Production Manager to join the Elka Collective team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) for a 12-month FTC. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production process across all collections, ensuring products are delivered on time, within margin and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with Design, Buying, Planning, Retail and Finance, you’ll play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, managing supplier relationships and keeping the production critical path moving across a fast-paced premium fashion business.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Own and drive the end-to-end production critical path to ensure timely delivery across all collections
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiating FOB costs, MOQs and delivery outcomes
• Monitor margins and proactively identify risks and opportunities across production
• Oversee production progress, shipment timelines and delivery schedules
• Manage purchase orders and production workflows within AP21
• Track all samples from development through to final production
• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Buying, Planning, Retail and Finance teams
• Resolve production and quality issues to maintain premium brand standards
• Drive continuous improvement across production processes and systems
• Support supplier sourcing initiatives and broader operational projects
• Manage and support the Production Assistant

ABOUT YOU

• 3+ years production experience within fashion, apparel or retail environments
• Strong experience working with offshore suppliers and global manufacturing partners
• Proven ability managing complex critical paths across multiple product categories
• Commercially minded with strong costing, margin and delivery management experience
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
• Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in AP21 or similar production systems, alongside strong Excel skills
• Solutions-focused with the ability to proactively manage challenges and production risks
• Passionate about premium fashion product and operational excellence
