ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Officer to join our energetic People & Culture team in Richmond on a 12-month fixed term contract covering parental leave. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting the details right and being part of a collaborative, supportive team.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Processing end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
Supporting payroll activities throughout the employee lifecycle
Managing leave entitlements and updates
Completing payroll runs, including STP and PAYG requirements
Updating employee records with salary/wage changes, deductions and allowances
Handling benefit payments and managing paid/unpaid leave
Monitoring the payroll inbox and resolving queries in a timely manner
Responding to employee queries via phone and email
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
You have 3+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience using Dayforce (or similar payroll systems)
A reliable, discreet and collaborative team member
Previous exposure to Retail, Hospitality or FMCG Awards is desirable
