We’re thrilled to be opening a NEW Superdry Christchurch Outlet store in mid-February 2026, and we’re looking for an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to join the team from the very beginning.
In this key support leadership role, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to help launch and run the store day to day. You’ll assist in leading a passionate team, driving sales performance, and delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced outlet retail environment.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 31.5 hours across a Sunday to Thursday roster.
Supporting the Store Manager with the successful launch and daily operation of the store
Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and developing a high-performing team
Leading by example to create a strong customer-first culture
Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Monitoring sales performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
Maintaining high visual merchandising standards and stock presentation
Supporting stock control, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention initiatives
Stepping into leadership responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence
Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Senior Retail Sales Assistant
Experience in a high-volume or outlet retail environment is highly regarded
Passionate about customer service and team development
Proven ability to support KPI achievement and commercial results
Strong skills in visual merchandising and stock management
Confident communicator with excellent organisational and time-management skills
