ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As our experienced Merchandise Planner, you will bring your extensive experience and be responsible for planning and forecasting of all stock requirements for our Hush Puppies channels, ensuring the successful procurement and allocation of stock that results in balanced assortments and stock-levels in stores to achieve (and exceed) sales budgets, margins and manage stock levels. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Develop merchandise and assortment plans aligned to customer needs and business strategy
  • Manage stock flow, allocation and replenishment to optimise availability and sell-through
  • Monitor sales performance and implement effective markdown and promotional strategies
  • Collaborate with Planning, Marketing, VM and Supply Chain teams to align on trade and inventory plans
  • Generate performance reports and insights for senior leadership

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will come with...

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar Planning role—fashion or apparel preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) and strong understanding of planning tools like AP21
  • Sharp with numbers, and even sharper with your insights
  • Strong commercial thinking—you know how to translate data into actions that drive results
  • Highly organised, fast-moving, and comfortable working autonomously
  • A great communicator and collaborator—you know how to bring people on the journey
