ABOUT THE ROLE

As Head of Retail, you will be at the forefront of driving retail excellence—from strategic planning, sales and KPI driving and financial performance to people leadership and customer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with executive teams to deliver bold strategies that align with brand goals and resonate with our customers.

With your extensive retail leadership and project management experience, you will play an integral role within Brand Collectives key leadership team. You will have the ability to contribute to strategic planning to deliver growth, leading and developing a performance-driven culture, with a focus on enhancing team capability, brand and financial management, and excellence in retail operations and customer experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead the design and execution of a multi-channel retail strategy that supports sustainable business growth.
• Partner with leadership on long-term vision and brand direction.
• Lead and manage projects to drive growth and achieve key strategic objectives.
• Identify and pursue retail opportunities, informed by competitor analysis and market trends.
• Develop and manage retail budgets and investments in collaboration with Finance and Real Estate teams.
• Optimize expenses and drive profitability across employment, shrinkage, and operations.
• Analyse customer trends and sales performance to guide continuous improvement.
• Craft a unique customer service strategy that builds loyalty and maximizes sales.
• Oversee the execution of store design, refurbishments, and maintenance.
• Ensure operational excellence across POS, stock, cash, and security.
• Partner with VM teams to align in-store visual strategies with business goals and enhance sales performance
• Lead and inspire a high-performing retail team including Area Managers and Multi Site Managers across Australia.
• Work closely with People & Culture teams to nurture talent and elevate team capability.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 10+ years’ experience in senior retail leadership managing a remit of 30+ stores within premium retail environments.
• Proven track record driving and delivering on sales and KPI budget expectations.
• Extensive end to end project management experience.
• Extensive stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive positive change.
• A strong commercial mindset, with a deep understanding of retail operations and financial performance.
• Aesthetic flair and affinity for brand experience and customer service excellence.
• Strategic mindset with agility and proficiency in change management.
• Financially savvy—confident in budget management and interpreting key metrics (EBIT, shrinkage, productivity).
• Analytical and agile—ready to pivot strategies based on evolving trends and customer insights.
• A natural communicator and motivator, with a passion for team growth and high performance.
