ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As the Ecommerce Manager for Hush Puppies, you will be responsible for the commercial success of the Hush Puppies ecommerce and marketplace business. This includes day-to-day operations of the brand’s website, digital marketing execution, and trade-related initiatives across online and marketplace channels. The ultimate goal is to deliver against Hush Puppies’ digital, marketing, and retail strategies while meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Hush Puppies’ ecommerce website and marketplace channels in line with brand marketing and product plans.
  • Coordinate the timely upload and categorization of products for monthly product drops.
  • Manage web assets, content, and promotions; ensure testing and implementation are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure merchandising strategies are effectively implemented, including organizing product categories, designing seasonal campaigns, and highlighting best-sellers or new arrivals.
  • Work with Digital and Supply Chain teams to maintain order fulfillment SLAs and high-quality customer delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with marketplace partners, ensuring accurate brand representation and timely product listings.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and improve the online customer journey.
  • Drive conversion rate growth through ongoing UX optimizations and issue resolution.
  • Leverage data and analytics to uncover strategic enhancements and address performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve irregular customer issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Test new features or functionalities on the website to enhance user experience and support business goals, ensuring thorough QA and minimal disruption.
  • Lead A/B testing and other optimization efforts to improve website performance and customer engagement, including testing page layouts, product descriptions, and promotional messaging.
  • Support Hush Puppies’ digital marketing execution across all paid channels.
  • Build and execute EDMs according to brand marketing calendars.
  • Develop and maintain automated customer journeys in Klaviyo.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics to optimize spend and ROAS.
  • Implement SEO strategies and enhancements to ensure continuous growth in     organic search visibility.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing teams to maximize creative assets by channel.

 

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will come with..

  • A minimum 4 years’ experience managing multiple ecommerce businesses, ideally within a multi-brand retail group focused on fashion or footwear. Hands-on experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and AP21 is highly desirable.
  • Strong track record trading ecommerce websites and marketplace channels.
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, SEO, UX and conversion optimisation.
  • Solid grasp of CMS, OMS, ESP, and other key retail technology platforms.
  • Foundational knowledge of supply chain, product development, and IT to drive cross-functional success.
  • A customer-centric mindset, able to optimize and define customer journeys.
  • Be skilled in leading and inspiring cross-functional teams, even without direct reports.
  • Confident communicator, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Have exceptional stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Be highly organized, with strong time management, planning, and prioritization abilities.
