ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Reporting to the Merchandise Planner, the Allocator plays a critical role in driving stock availability and performance across the Reebok and Champion brands. This role is responsible for executing allocations, replenishment and stock movements across retail and online channels to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Working closely with planning, retail teams and the distribution centre, you’ll help maximise sales, stock turn and in-season performance across a diverse, fast-paced brand portfolio.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Allocating new ranges and replenishing core and seasonal product to retail and online stores in line with store profiles and capacity.
- Creating and maintaining store option planners, stock grids and model stock levels.
- Monitoring store performance, identifying gaps and recommending allocation actions to optimise sales and stock turn.
- Supporting stock movements, consolidations and replenishment activity in line with the promotional calendar.
- Liaising with stores, planning and the warehouse to coordinate stock deliveries and resolve product or inventory issues.
- Preparing and distributing allocation updates and supporting recurring and ad hoc reporting.
- Assisting the Merchandise Planner with analysis, system updates and brand administration as required.
ABOUT YOU
- 6–12 months’ experience in an allocation, planning or retail operations role (footwear or apparel preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear actions.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability is essential.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across planning, retail and operations teams.
- Detail-oriented, organised and confident managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with AP21, SAP or similar systems is advantageous but not essential.
