ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Allocator to join the Black Pepper Planning team at our Richmond Head Office.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the right stock reaches the right stores at the right time. Working closely with the Planning and Retail teams, you’ll manage allocations, replenishments, and stock movement to help drive sales, optimise inventory levels, and support the ongoing success of our retail network.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Allocate stock to stores in line with range and capacity plans.
  • Manage replenishments, consolidations, and transfers to optimise sales and stock turn.
  • Analyse store and product performance, making recommendations to maximise results.
  • Support promotional and marketing initiatives through effective stock management.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and data integrity across systems.
  • Communicate regularly with Planning, Retail and Store teams to address stock and product queries.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • 1–2 years’ experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning, or a related role.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using AP21 or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn and grow within the planning function.
