ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Calling all retail legends! If you know your way around a stockroom, love leading a team, and think there’s nothing better than helping a kid find their perfect pair of kicks – we want to hear from you.

We’re on the lookout for a Store Manager with energy to burn, leadership chops, and a big love for little feet. You’ll take the reins at Shoes & Sox Burwood, leading the team in a store that’s all about comfort, confidence, and fun.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll be the store’s captain, coach and cheerleader – making sure every shift runs smoothly, the team is motivated, and customers leave with smiles (and shoes).

  • Lead from the front – inspire your team, drive results, and keep the good vibes going
  • Celebrate the wins, coach through the challenges, and keep your crew feeling proud
  • Keep an eagle eye on sales and store performance – no detail too small
  • Create a store that wows – clean, fun, and visually on-point
  • Stay smart on stock – reduce shrinkage and keep things flowing
  • Champion a safe, supportive, and positive work environment

You bring the energy, the empathy, and the experience.

  • Proven background in retail leadership – you know how to coach, train, and grow a team
  • Love working with kids and their families – patience is your middle name
  • KPI wizard – you know your numbers and how to hit them
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and ready to solve problems before they appear
  • Always learning, always improving, and never shy to try something new
  • A confident communicator who knows how to build great relationships
