ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As a Part-Time Retail Assistant at Black Pepper Hornsby, you’ll be an important part of creating a warm, welcoming and personalised shopping experience for our customers.

You’ll use your passion for fashion and genuine love of helping people to provide styling advice, assist customers in finding the perfect fit and make every visit to our Hornsby store a positive one.

Alongside delivering exceptional customer service, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, transactions and maintaining a beautiful store environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves fashion, enjoys connecting with customers and is looking for a rewarding part-time role within a friendly and supportive retail team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
• Build genuine connections with customers and understand their individual needs
• Assist customers with product selections, styling advice and finding the perfect fit
• Help create a positive and memorable experience for every customer who visits our Hornsby store
• Maintain the store’s presentation, ensuring it is clean, organised and visually appealing
• Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
• Stock and replenish merchandise, ensuring products are available and presented beautifully
• Support inventory management and visual merchandising
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve sales targets and store goals
• Bring a positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude to every shift

ABOUT YOU

• Passionate about fashion, styling and making a difference in our customers’ lives
• Enjoy helping women feel confident and fabulous in what they wear
• Experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role within a team environment
• Able to build genuine relationships and adapt your selling style to meet the needs of each customer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, positive and enthusiastic with a strong customer-first approach
• Able to commit to a part-time shift pattern, with some flexibility to assist during peak trading periods
• A team player who enjoys contributing to a supportive and positive store environment
