ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As a Casual Retail Assistant at Hush Puppies Sydney Central, you’ll be the face of our brand—welcoming customers, providing styling advice, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience. You’ll assist with day-to-day operations including sales, stock management, and maintaining a clean, inspiring space. This role suits someone with a passion for footwear, great communication skills, and a flexible, can-do attitude.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selections and offer styling advice
• Maintain store appearance, ensuring it’s clean, organised, and visually appealing
• Handle transactions efficiently and accurately at the register
• Stock and replenish merchandise, ensuring product availability
• Support store operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising
• Work as part of a team to meet sales targets and store goals

ABOUT YOU

• Passion for providing style advice to make a difference in our customers lives and make their day!  
• Experience in a customer facing sales/retail role in a team environment
• Able to commit to a shift pattern & some flexibility to assist in peak trade periods
• You can adapt your selling style to meet the needs of the customer in front of you
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
