As our Health & Safety Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and embedding a proactive safety culture across Brand Collective’s Australia and New Zealand operations.

Supporting a workforce of more than 3,000 team members across retail stores, support offices and distribution environments, you’ll partner closely with leaders across the business to drive safety strategy, improve injury management outcomes, strengthen compliance and create safer workplaces for our people.

The role is a standalone specialist role where you'll be trusted as the Health & Safety expert, using your expertise and influence to guide leaders and drive safety outcomes across the business.

This is an opportunity to move beyond compliance and make a genuine impact through influencing culture, reducing risk, improving wellbeing and embed a safety framework across a large and diverse retail organisation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Partner with leaders across Retail, Distribution, Support Office and People & Culture to embed a proactive, safety-first culture and improve safety capability across the business
  • Lead risk assessments, workplace audits, site inspections and incident investigations, identifying opportunities to reduce both physical and psychosocial risks
  • Manage end-to-end workers compensation and injury management processes, supporting early intervention, return to work outcomes and sustainable recovery plans
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of WHS policies, procedures, systems, training programs and governance frameworks to ensure legislative compliance
  • Monitor legislative changes and emerging risks, providing practical guidance and recommendations to leaders across the organisation
  • Analyse safety performance, claims data and incident trends to provide actionable insights and drive meaningful business improvements
  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders, insurers and external providers to improve safety outcomes and reduce workers compensation costs

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years’ experience within Health & Safety, Injury Management or a related field, ideally within a multi-site retail, logistics, warehousing or customer-facing environment
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand WHS legislation, workers compensation including psychosocial risk management
  • Proven experience developing and implementing safety systems, programs and initiatives that deliver measurable improvements
  • Demonstrated experience managing workers compensation claims, return to work programs and insurer relationships
  • Confident leading investigations, audits and risk assessments, with the ability to balance compliance requirements with practical and sustainable business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and drive change across all levels of an organisation
