This is a newly created role and one of the most exciting opportunities within Brand Collective's Marketing team.

We're building our in-house TikTok and short-form social content capability from the ground up and are looking for someone who has successfully done it before. This is your opportunity to create something from scratch, influence how one of Australia's leading apparel and footwear groups approaches social content and leave a lasting impact across an entire portfolio of iconic brands.

For the first six months, your focus will be on building and scaling our social content capability across Reebok, Champion and Superdry. You'll develop an always-on content engine, establish a scalable creator network, and create high-performing organic content that directly informs paid social performance.

From there, you'll help shape the future of Brand Collective by developing a Group-wide content and creator playbook that can be rolled out across our broader portfolio of brands.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making content just as much as developing the strategy behind it. You'll spend as much time behind the camera, editing content and working with creators as you will analysing performance and identifying what to scale next.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As our Group TikTok & Social Content Lead, you'll bring our social content strategy to life, creating high-performing content, building scalable creator partnerships, and using organic insights to drive paid performance across some of our most iconic brands.

  • Build and execute the TikTok and short-form content strategy across Reebok, Champion, Superdry to start with and then work across our group brand portfolio.
  • Develop an always-on content calendar, content pillars and creative briefing framework.
  • Plan, shoot, direct and edit engaging, native TikTok and Instagram content.
  • Drive a high-volume test-and-learn approach, using performance insights to continually refine and optimise content.
  • Source, brief and manage creators and influencers, establishing a scalable "Creator Engine" that goes beyond one-off campaigns.
  • Identify high-performing organic content and partner with the Performance Marketing team to translate those learnings into paid social creative.
  • Create a continuous feedback loop between organic and paid performance to maximise creative effectiveness.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing teams and external agency partners to deliver engaging, channel-first content.
  • Develop a practical Group content and creator playbook that can be adopted across the wider Brand Collective portfolio.
  • Recommend how our social content capability should evolve as the function grows across the business.

ABOUT YOU

You'll be someone who understands social media isn't just about creating content. You know how to build systems, scale performance and create content that genuinely connects with audiences.

  • Demonstrated success building an organic TikTok presence for a brand, ideally from the ground up.
  • Strong hands-on production skills, with experience shooting, directing and editing native social content.
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating and managing creators and influencers.
  • A deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, platform behaviour and what drives engagement.
  • Strong analytical capability, using metrics such as completion rate, watch time, shares, saves and traffic source to optimise content.
  • Experience collaborating with Performance Marketing teams to develop paid creative informed by organic success.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where testing, learning and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, or transitioning content capability from agency to in-house, will be highly regarded.
