ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

As the Concession Manager of our brand new Elka Collective at Canberra David Jones, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team in delivering a premium shopping experience that reflects the brand’s modern, minimalist aesthetic. You’ll be responsible for driving store performance, building strong customer relationships, managing daily operations, and maintaining the visual integrity of the space. This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader with a love for contemporary fashion and a focus on creating exceptional in-store experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Leading and motivating a small, high-performing boutique team
• Delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting client relationships
• Driving sales and meeting key performance targets
• Managing daily store operations including rostering, stock management, and visual merchandising
• Ensuring the boutique reflects Elka Collective’s brand standards and aesthetic
• Supporting team development through coaching and training
• Collaborating with David Jones and Elka Collective teams to maximize sales opportunities

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience managing a boutique or concession store, ideally within fashion retail
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building client relationships
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a small team
• Commercially minded and results-driven, with a track record of achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a good eye for visual merchandising and brand presentation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• A genuine appreciation for Elka Collective’s minimalist and contemporary style
