ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We’re on the hunt for a driven and energetic Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team at Shoe Warehouse DFO Homebush!
If you’re passionate about retail, love leading from the front, and know how to motivate a team while delivering strong sales results—this could be your next move. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager, keeping the team engaged, and creating a store environment that customers love coming back to.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
No two days are the same in retail, but here’s what you can expect:
• Support the Store Manager in running daily operations and keeping the store performing at its best
• Lead by example – deliver outstanding customer service and inspire your team to do the same
• Drive sales performance by tracking results, celebrating wins, and identifying growth opportunities
• Coach and develop your team to achieve KPIs and reach their full potential
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards to ensure the store looks its absolute best
• Help manage stock levels and minimise shrinkage through strong loss prevention practices
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following OH&S standards
ABOUT YOU
You’re a natural leader who thrives in a team environment and loves retail:
• Experience as a Retail Supervisor, Third in Charge, or Assistant Store Manager
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Confident working with stock control and visual merchandising
• Positive, reliable, and eager to learn and grow
